The visually expressive and sensual style of theatre I strive to develop attracted some outstanding visual artists:

rehearsals with The Cherub Company in the Studio of Feliks Topolski (1907 – 1989) under Hungerford Bridge resulted in portraits of the actors in the moment of creation and most original posters for our productions;

Jason Southgate (born 1970) was Cherub’s Resident Designer for 3 years;

Jim Russell drew us in rehearsal in 2001 and 2002;

and Alan Halliday paints during the performance, capturing mood and vibrant colour.
